Fully Dressed Outboard Powerheads
This service allows the dealer to send in his powerhead complete with carb's and ignition. We will install your carb's and ignition system on a new remanufactured powerhead or your rebuilt powerhead. Carb's will be dissembled, cleaned and if necessary updated. We will also synchronize your linkages. Call for a quote on powerheads not listed. Just disconnect your fuel line and electrical connection and send it in. We will send it back to you the same way.
Remanufactured Outboard Powerheads
All powerheads have been disassembled, cleaned and completely rebuilt. Cylinder heads and all external covers are on and all powerheads are painted. Gasket set is included in this price. Your powerhead and carburetors must be sent in for exchange. Carb's will be cleaned and checked over. We will return your carb's with your rebuilt powerhead. All above services are included in the powerhead price. How to order: Send in your powerhead, either short block or fully dressed, along with your carb's, serial and model number.
Rebuilt Stern-Drive Powerheads
We can rebuild stern drive powerheads. We will completely tear down and rebuild your customer's powerhead. All pistons and bearings will be replaced and cylinders will be re-bored. Each powerhead will be quoted individually.
Please Note:
- Defective crankshaft and rods will have an additional charge.
- Ignition, carburation and URO pump for components are not included in the cost of remanufactured dressed powerheads.
- When testing powerheads requiring electrical or fuel components, we will contact you for direction.
- V.R.O. EFI. DIRECT INJECTION , Must be tested with engine running, dealer responsibility.
- All power-heads on exchange bases: Prices listed using OEM parts.
- Powerheads using after market parts: Call for pricing.
- Call for models or engines not listed.
MARINE MEDICS LIMITED WARRANTY
Marine Medics warrants remanufactured powerheads against defects in material and workmanship for a period of (90) days from first use. If a Marine Medics powerhead is found to be defective, Marine Medics will:
- Repair or replace powerhead at Marine Medics discretion.
- For the first (60) days after purchase Marine Medics will reimburse the dealer for removal and installation of powerhead. ($100.00 for two and three cylinder engines and ($200.00) for four and six cylinder engines. OVERHEATED OR LACK OF LUBRICATION, VOIDS WARRANTY.
